Company TANGAR d.o.o. was founded in 1991 by Ljiljana and Marin Tangar. After opening a small ice cream parlour in their hometown of Kastela, TANGAR rapidly grew due to high demand for materials for production of ice cream in the region. As a result, TANGAR was the first business in the independent Croatia to offer wide assortment of high quality products for ice cream, baked goods and other desserts. Only ten years after company's founding, TANGAR bought a part of an abandoned factory and transformed it into its headquarters, with a center for research and develpment, production units and warehouses. The company resides at the same address until today.
